Applications:

Cresols (META / PARA / ORTHO)

Applications:

Cresols are precursors or synthetic intermediates to other compounds and materials, including plastics, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and dyes, it is useful as raw materials for various chemical products including Fragrances, deodorizing, odor-enhancer, Phosphate esters (plasticizers), Rubber and plastic antioxidants, Solvent and paints, Lubricating oils, asoline additives, Adhesives, Fiber and wood preservative,s UV- absorbers and photographic chemicals, Ore flotation agents, uses including the manufacture of synthetic resins, tricresyl phosphate, salicylaldehyde, coumarin, and herbicides, Cresols also serve as components of degreasing compounds in textile scouring and paintbrush cleaners as well as fumigants in photographic developers and explosives.Cresols also function as antiseptics, disinfectants and parasiticides in veterinary medicine. It is corrosive and is a more powerful disinfectant and antiseptic than phenol. The primary use is for sterilizing as disinfectants and deodorizers, and pesticides. It is used as an external antiseptic, expectorant, gastric sedative, deodorant, and as an antiseptic parasiticide veterinary use in the form of creosote carbonate. It is used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and vanillin.

ECH (Epi Chloro Hydrin)

Applications:

Epichlorohydrin is mainly converted to bisphenol A diglycidyl ether, It is also a precursor to monomers for other resins and polymers. It is a versatile precursor in the synthesis of many organic compounds. It is used as a solvent for cellulose, resins, and paints, and it has found use as an insect fumigant. It is a chemical intermediate, of epoxy resins used in Paints & coatings, Composites, Adhesives and Electronics. Polymers made from epichlorohydrin, e.g., polyamide-epichlorohydrin resins, are used in paper reinforcement and, such as in the food industry to manufacture tea bags, coffee filters, and sausage/salami casings as well as with water purification. An important biochemical application of epichlorohydrin is its use as crosslinking agent for the production of Sephadex size-exclusion chromatographic resins from dextrans. It is used in the manufacture of phosphorous fireproofing material for plastic foams. It is used in the manufacture of glycerol and glycidyl derivatives. It is uesd in Pharmaceutical industry in in chemical synthesis of complex molecules as well as in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products (X-ray contrasting, cough mixtures) as it is the is the base of the synthesis of glycerol monochlorohydrin . PTBP (PARA TERTIARY BUTYL PHENOL)

Applications:

Para Tert Butyl Phenol (PTBP) is mainly used in the manufacture of PTBP formaldehyde resins for surface coating applications.PTBP- formaldehyde resins find application as tackifiers for synthetic rubber and as adhesives in the tyre industry. They are also used in vulcanisation of natural and synthetic rubbers.Hydrogenated PTBP is used as a basic raw material to create PTBCHA which is widely used in perfumery industry .It is also used widely in the ink production.

oT (o-Toluidine)

Applications:

Applications:

intermediate in the synthesis of dyes, antioxidants, pharmaceuticals and gasoline, in gum inhibitors, poultry medicines, and as a corrosion inhibitor.

oNA (Ortho-Nitro Aniline)

Applications:

Main precursor to phenylenediamines, which are converted to benzimidazoles, a family of heterocycles that are key components in pharmaceuticals.

Resorcinol

Applications:

antiseptic and disinfectant, and is used 5 to 10% in ointments in the treatment of chronic skin diseases.

Hexamine (Hexamethylenetetramine)

Applications:

production of powdery or liquid preparations of phenolic resins and phenolic resinmoulding compounds, where it is added as a hardening component. These products are used as binders, e.g. in brake and clutch linings, abrasive products, non-woven textiles, formed parts produced by moulding processes, and fireproof materials.

IPA (Isophthalic Acid)

Applications:

used as precursors (in form of acyl chlorides) to commercially important polymers, e.g. the fire-resistant material Nomex. Mixed with terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid is used in the production of resins for drink bottles. The high-performance polymer polybenzimidazole is produced from isophthalic acid.

Nonylphenol

Applications:

Used in manufacturing antioxidants, lubricating oil additives, and the production of NPEs. Nonylphenol exthoxylates have a variety of industrial and household uses including detergents, emulsifiers, wetting and dispersing agents, antistatic agents, demulsifiers and solubilisers

Nonylphenol Ethoxylates

Applications:

industrial and institutional cleaning, domestic cleaning; textiles and leather processing, emulsifier in agricultural teat dips; metal working except uses in controlled closed systems where the washing liquid is recycled or incinerated; manufacturing of pulp and paper; cosmetic products; other personal care products except spermicides; co-formulants in pesticides and biocides

BDO (1,4-Butanediol)

Applications:

1,4-Butanediol is used industrially as a solvent and in the manufacture of some types of plastics, elastic fibers and polyurethanes. Inorganic chemistry, 1,4-butanediol is used for the synthesis of γ-butyrolactone (GBL). In the presence of phosphoric acid and high temperature, it dehydrates to the important solvent tetrahydrofuran.[7] At about 200 °C in the presence of soluble rutheniumcatalysts, the diol undergoes dehydrogenation to form butyrolactone.
